Cultural heritage and humanities in a digital world
This year the first six CATCH research projects will be finalized. Scientific results and insights will be delivered, as well as directions for future research. A symposium will be held in Amsterdam where the projects will reflect on their scientific results, lessons learned and future prospectives. Key notes will be presented by Chad Gaffield, president of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), and Valentijn Byvanck, director of the Dutch Nationaal Historisch Museum.
The symposium will be concluded with recommendations by the CATCH International Scientific Advisory Board, and an interview session on the advancement of cooperation between cultural heritage, eHumanities, computer science and policy makers.
The venue is 'De Bazel' Vijzelstraat 32, Amsterdam.
